Update March 2003
The receiver has been running for a year since I added and updated the Jupiter driver. The bonus is one year of altitude and longitude readings in the
log file at 60 second intervals. In total, about 350,000 readings. I wonder how
accurate the latitude and longitude are ?
The computer (wysenburg.RiverCityCanada.com)
that NTP in installed on was updated from Caldera 3.1 to RedHat 8.0. I had to
recompile NTP with RedHat so that I could continue to use the Jupiter driver for
the Delorme Tripmate GPS receiver. For some reason I couldn't get the Jupiter
driver to compile and link. Out of frustration, I copied ntpd from the Caldera
system. It worked ?? I guess I just didn't expect it to work and would have
saved myself a lot of time had I done that sooner.
