What's Needed - Getting it All Together

What you need:

• Microsoft Windows 2000 (any version)
• EMWAC IMS Freeware Email Server
• POP Agent (from this site)

Microsoft Windows 2000 SMTP

The SMTP server is an essential part and it's available with any version of Windows 2000 and some versions of Windows NT.

EMWAC IMS Freeware Email Server

The IMS Documentation and Download is mirrored at this link but has recently been changed. It is still mirrored in a few other places, but if you can't find it, you can download it from this site:

For these examples, the only part of the EMWAC IMS package that you will be using is the POP3 server and the Control Panel applet. In particular, you need the three files: POP3S.EXE, IMSCMN.DLL and IMS.CPL from the IMSi386.zip package. I do recommend downloading and reading the documentation. It will help understanding the examples here.

POP Agent

The final piece of software that you need is my software the POP Agent. It can be downloaded from here.
